Martijn (1974) started his career at an insurance broker. Here he worked for different departments (sales and claims). After 11 years he switched to a mutual insurance company (Oranje Verzekeringen), specialized in inland navigation, where he worked as claims handler, mainly working on hull damages. Per 1 September 2010 Martijn joined the Claims department at Dutch P&I where he handles portfolio claims as well as correspondents claims. Martijn holds several insurance certificates.
